Berkeley Cops To Offer Child Safety Seat Inspection Today At Bayville Firehouse

Inspections will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Berkeley police and Ocean County Sheriff's Department officers will inspect child passenger safety seats for free today at the Bayville Volunteer Fire Company on Route 9 in Bayville, Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said.

If you're not sure of the following questions, stop by from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and a certified CPS technician can tell you.

Do you know if your child's safety seat is properly installed? Are you using the right seat? Is your child securely seated in the seat? Is your child ready for a booster seat? Is your child read to ride in a vehicle without a booster seat? Can your child ride in the forward facing position before she or he is two years old?
