Berkeley Garbage Pickup Changes Due To New Year's Holiday
Those with Monday pickups are affected, mayor says
If your regular garbage pickup day is Monday, you'll have to put your cans out on Saturday, Dec. 31 due to the New Year's holiday, Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said.
The temporary change affects those with garbage schedule #3 which includes the Glen Cove, Sandpiper, Holly Park Belair, Cedar Beach, Berkeley Shores sections of the township and any other areas east of Route 9, the mayor said.
The temporary change also affects residents in the Holiday City at Berkeley section of the township. Trash will be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 31.

Pickups will return to their normal schedule the following week, the mayor said.
