Berkeley To Hold Two Post-Sandy Recovery Community Meetings This Week
Township officials want residents' input on storm recovery and mitigation after Superstorm Sandy.

Are you worried about the next big one?
Then come to two public meetings Berkeley Township is holding to discuss storm recovery and resiliency from future storm and flood events in the bayfront communities to be held this week.
The first public session will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the Berkeley Township Recreation Center, 630 Route 9 in Bayville.

Both sessions will review ways to mitigate, reduce or prevent impacts from natural disaster, according to the township website.
The second meeting will from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad building at 61 J Street in Seaside Park.

"No official action will be taken at this workshop," the website states. The public is encouraged to participate and offer comments."
