Berkeley Officers Respond To Drug Overdose In Holiday City
Madras Court victim treated with Narcan, police chief says

Two Berkeley police officers recently revived a person with an opioid overdose at a Madras Court home in the Holiday City section of the township, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Patrolman Thomas Eichen and Patrolman Justin Heffernan responded to the home at 4:08 a.m. on June 2 on a report of a drug overdose. The officers administered Narcan since the victim was showing signs of an opioid overdose, the chief said.
The victim was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River by the Berkeley Township First Aid Squad for more treatment, DiMichele said.
