Berkeley Police Charge Bayville Woman With Series Of Car Burglaries
Emily Brown, 21, also facing drug charges, police chief says.

Berkeley police have charged a Bayville woman with three car burglaries in the Pinewald section of the township, Police Chief Karin P. DiMichele said.
Emily Brown, 21, Western Boulevard, was also charged with two counts of thefts after an investigation by Berkeley detectives into multiple unlocked vehicles. Items taken include change, cash, credit cards, and electronics, the chief said.
They were able to obtain evidence from the credit card transactions, which showed they were used at a local business, and Brown's identification, she said.

Detectives arrived at Brown's home around 4 p.m. on Nov. 3 and arrested her. More evidence was obtained related to the crimes was obtained, along with heroin and drug paraphernalia, DiMichele said.
Brown was taken to police headquarters and then to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of $12,500, the chief said.
