Berkeley: Two Provided Booze To Underage Drinkers At Trestle

A Lacey woman and a Kearny man were arrested, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Berkeley police have charged a Lacey Township woman and a Kearny man with providing alcoholic beverages to minors, Police Karin T. DiMichele said.

Sergeant John Fosbre, Patrolman Steven Kappock, and Patrolman William Shoemaker responded to the railroad trestle by Cedar Creek on June 14 to investigate a report of underage drinking. They found that both Joseph J. Cappucciana III, 28, Kearny, and Nicole R. Cappucciana, 33, Lacey Township, were providing minors with alcoholic beverages, the chief said.

Both were arrested and taken to police headquarters. They were both eventually released on summonses with court dates set, she said
