Bickford credited Central's offensive line with his performance.

“I think they’re the best line in the Shore Conference,” he said. “I’ve known every single one of them for a good six years. We have great chemistry together. They blocked perfectly and made the holes for me to score touchdowns.”

Coach Justin Furmando was not surprised at Bickford's performance.

“Not surprised at all,” the coach said. “Coming into the season we knew Michael was a special player and we know that’s how we’re going to have to win games.”

And Bickford is looking forward to Sunday. That's the day the team sits down and reviews the game.

"We watch it Sunday," he said. "Can't wait."

Central is now 4-1. Brick Memorial is 0-5.
