Central Regional Board Of Ed Member To Resign Soon, Citing Personal Reasons
The Board of Education has a vacancy that needs to be filled after 2018, school administrator says.

The Central Regional Board of Education will have a vacancy for one of the Berkeley Township seats after the 2018, following the resignation of Jennifer Gindel, who recently announced her intention to step down.
The board will appoint someone to fill Gindel's seat for the rest of 2017 and the rest of 2018. Then in November of 2018, interested persons can file to run for the remainder of Gindel's term.
"She will be resigning after the July Board of Ed meeting, " said school administrator Kevin O'Shea.

The board is expected to appoint her replacement for the rest of 2017 and 2018, at the August or September board meetings, O'Shea said.
Since Gindel's term runs through 2019, anyone who wants to run for the last year of her seat will have to run in the November 2018 general election, he said.
