The rip current risk for today is low, but rips can still occur near jetties and other structures. Always have a flotation device with you in the water.

Waves will be 2 to 3 feet, with easterly swells around 2 feet. The surf temperature is a chilly 62 degrees.There is no lightning threat.
The ultraviolet index for today is an 8, which the NWS considers very high, so bring the sunscreen.

High tide at Barnegat Inlet occurred at 4:40 a.m. Low tide will will arrive at 11:06 a.m., followed by another high tide at 5:p.m.
