Coastal Ocean County Beach Weather Report For May 28, 2017
The rip current risk is low, but temperatures will be chilly. A coastal flood advisory has been issued for tonight.

The National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies today with temperatures in the mid-sixties, so swimming might have to wait for a few more weekends.
The rip current risk is low. But they can still occur near jetties and other structures. The NWS still suggests you bring a floatation device with you in the water. The water temperature is only 60 degrees.
Waves will be around two feet, with southern swells. Offshore waves will be from three to four feet. Winds will be from the southeast at five to ten miles per hour. There's a coastal flood advisory from 9 p.m. tonight to until 3 a.m. on Monday. Minor tidal flooding is expected during tonight's high tide.

Bring the sunscreen. The UV index is a 9, which the NWS considers very high. There is no lightning threat today.
High tide at Barnegat Inlet arrives at 10:35 am. Low tide will come in at 4:44 p.m., followed by another high tide at 10:51 p.m.
