Coastal Ocean County Beach Weather Report For May 29, 2017

A soggy ending to Memorial Day weekend, with showers and cool temperatures.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a less than ideal day at the beach for the last day of Memorial Day weekend.

It will be cloudy with showers likely, with highs only in the lower 60s. Expect northeast winds from 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Waves will be higher today than the last few days, at four to five feet, with southeast swells of two to three feet. The rip current risk is low, but rips can still develop near jetties and other structures. The NWS suggests bringing a floatation device with you in the water.
