The "Crazy Bus Ride" in Seaside Heights Shut Down After Accident

The mishap occurred after a Philadelphia woman was helping her grandchildren off the Casino Pier ride

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ - Casino Pier officials have shut down the "Crazy Bus Ride" on the pier after a Philadelphia woman was injured on July 5, Detective Steven Korman said.

Police responded to the ride at 9:30 p.m on a response to a first aid call. The unidentified 51-year-old woman was helping her two grandchildren off the ride when she received minor injuries from a fall, Korman said.

The woman was taken to Community Medical Center by the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad.

"Casino Pier Administration immediately shut down the ride, in addition, contacted the New Jersey State Amusement Ride Safety Unit," Korman said.
