A Decent Day Ahead For Ocean County Beaches
Partly sunny skies, low rip current risk, National Weather Service says

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - If you're lucky enough to have the day off, head over to your favorite Ocean County beach, now that the holiday crowds are gone.
The National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s. Winds will be from the south at 10 miles per hour. The lightning threat is low, which means there is little chance of thunderstorms.
There's also a low risk of rip currents. But rips can still occur at anytime, especially near jetties and other structures. Never swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night. Beach patrols have already made numerous rescues and the season has just started. Don't be a statistic this summer.
