Ducklings Trapped In Holiday City Storm Drain In Berkeley Rescued
Ducklings rescued in Berkeley.
It took a lot of people to help rescue five ducklings trapped in a Holiday City storm drain on Friday morning.
But in the end, all was well.
"Sometimes its not always about protecting lives and property..... sometimes its about the animals too...," according to a post on the Manitou Park Fire Company's Facebook page.

The fire company responded to a report of ducklings trapped in storm drains at 11:40 am. in the area of Plaza Drive in Holiday City.
It took about an hour to free the four babies, but they were safely reunited with their mother, according to the post.

"This was a joint operation by Manitou Park Fire Company, Berkeley Township Police Department, Berkeley Township Animal Control and Berkeley DPW," the post states. "And last but not least our dispatchers at the Ocean County Sheriff's Office."
