Holiday City Man Charged With Pulling Knife, Threatening Others
George P. Dipoalo, 40, Encinitas Drive, was later taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, police chief says

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Police arrested a Holiday City man after he brandished a large knife and threatened others after a fight recently, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Sergeant John Fosbre, Patrolman Ryan Wahl, Patrolman William Shoemaker, Patrolman DJ Williams, and Officer Robert Warden responded to the area of Port Royal Drive and Insbrook Drive to investigate a reported fight in progress on July 8, the chief said.
They separated all those involved and arrested George P. Dipoalo, 40, Encinitas Drive. He was charged with making terroristic threats, assault, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, the chief said.

Dipoalo taken to police headquarters, then to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, pending a bail hearing. Evidence was collected on scene and logged into property for future reference, DiMichael said.
