Kind Of An Iffy Day At Ocean County Beaches
Partly sunny skies with a chance of showers, National Weather Service says

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - The National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies with a chance of showers and a moderate risk of rip currents.
Highs today at the beach will be in the upper 70s. Winds will be light and variable, becoming southeast around 10 miles per hour in the afternoon. The lightning threat is low, which means there is little chance of thunderstorms.
Waves will be around 3 feet, with southerly swells of 2 feet. The ocean water temperatures is 76 degrees, although that may vary from beach to beach.

The ultraviolet index is a 5, which the NWS considers moderate. But you can still burn, so don't forget the sunscreen.
High tide at Barnegat Inlet arrived at 10:06 a.m. Low tide will roll in at 4:11 p.m., followed by another high tide at 10:15 p.m.
