The National Weather Service Issues Air Quality Alert For Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued "code orange" air quality alert for Tuesday in coastal Ocean County.

A "code orange" alert means that air pollution concentrations may be unhealthy for children, people with asthma, the elderly and those with heart disease or lung problems, according to the NWS.

Air pollution effects can be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity and exercising outdoors.
