Ocean Gate Community Bands Together To Support Poodle Attacked By Pit Bull

So far, the little dog's veterinary bills are over $5,000; she had multiple wounds and lost an eye in the attack.

It started out as a man walking his poodle Saphiria down an Ocean Gate street on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Out of nowhere, a pit bull charged out of a house, and attacked both the man and the poodle. The owner tried to fend him off and was bitten. The pit bull attacked the poodle multiple times.

"This dog proceeded to drag, shred and rip the poodle apart," according to the gofundme page established to help the family with veterinary bills.
