Patricia D. Lowe Of Ocean Gate Dies At 76

Patricia D. Lowe, nee Kennedy, of Ocean Gate, NJ died on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 at Community Medical Center, in Toms River, NJ. She was 76.

Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Avenel before moving to Ocean Gate in 1963. She was a clerk for the Ocean County Board of Elections and worked in the Ocean Gate Recreation Department. Pat was very active in Ocean Gate and a member of their Democratic club and Ladies Civic Club. She was a parishioner of St Barnabas R.C. Church, Bayville, NJ.

Pat received her college degree after raising her seven children. She was predeceased by her husband Jim and her son Timothy. She is survived by her sons; Charles J. and his wife Jane, Edward and his wife Carmen Sila. Daughters; Dawn Kozma, Kelly Sidley and her husband Edward, Tamara Swallick and her husband Kenneth and Priscilla Lowe. 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and her beloved dogs Charlie and Jenny and her cat Janey.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O'Connell Chapel at 706 Route 9 in Bayville, NJ. The funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Bayville, NJ. Burial will follow at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
