The Pine Beach Police Department raised the funds for a veterans mental health awareness group through its No Shave November campaign.
PINE BEACH, NJ - One thousand dollars raised by the Pine Beach Police Department was donated to a soldier mental health nonprofit, police officials said.
The sum was donated to the Redondo Foundation at a Pine Beach council meeting earlier this month, the Pine Beach Police Department wrote in a statement. All the funds were raised by officers during No Shave November.
“The officers were honored to be able to make a donation to such a great cause,” the Pine Beach Police Department said in a statement.
