Police Investigating Afternoon Stabbing In Seaside Heights
The woman was stabbed in the left thigh, was treated and released at Community Medical Center

Seaside Height police are investigating the stabbing of a woman in the 200 block of a Sheridan Avenue home on Jan. 2, Detective Steven Korman said.
Police responded to a 911 call at 1:30 p.m., where they found a 37-year-old woman who had been stabbed in the left thigh, he said.
She was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River, where she was treated and later released, Korman said.

Seaside Heights detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Michael McCurdy at 732-793-1800, he said.
