Teens Save Three From Rip Current In Seaside Heights: Report Says

The National Weather Service has been warning of moderate risk of rip currents all week.

Three men who were caught in a rip current on Saturday morning were saved by two teenagers who heard them screaming, according to NBC4 New York.

Thomas Bicurro, 15, and Nikolas Devoe, 14, a Central Regional High School freshman, were headed to the beach in Seaside Heights on Saturday morning when they heard people screaming.

They donned their wetsuits and headed into the water. A third person helped as they dragged the men out of the water. The National Weather Service has been predicting a moderate risk of rip currents most of the past week and surf temperatures of around 62 degrees.
