Township's South Seaside Park Beach Party Slated For Wednesday

SOUTH SEASIDE PARK, NJ - If the rain holds off late Wednesday afternoon, Berkeley Township will hold its annual summer beach party at 23rd Avenue in South Seaside Park.

The event gets underway at 5:30 p.m. Alotta Colado will provide the music. Food and refreshments will also be available.

"We're going to make the call tomorrow morning," Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said. "If we do call it, the beach party will be rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 15. "We have also rescheduled the concert from last week to Wednesday, Sept. 5."

The National Weather Service is calling for rain and thunderstorms.
