The rip current risk is high. Waves will be around 11 feet, with easterly swells of nine feet. The ocean water temperature is 70 degrees. Winds will be from the northeast at 25 to 30 miles per hour.

"These rip currents will be life-threatening to anyone who enters the surf," the NWS says. Anyone visiting the beaches should stay out of the surf."

High tide at Barnegat Inlet arrived at 7:55 a.m. Low tide will roll in at 2:14 p.m. followed by another high tide at 8:11 a.m.
