'When Cranberries Were King' Discussion At Berkeley Branch Of The Ocean County Library Coming Up

Event starts at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the library's meeting room.

Come to the Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library on Oct. 19 and learn about how the New Jersey cranberry industry grew into the third largest in the United States.

The presentation gets underway at 6:30 p.m. in meeting room in the library of the branch at 30 Station Road in Bayville.

It will focus on the history of Whitesbog, which was the largest cranberry farm in the state during the first half of the twentieth century.
