Woman's cart struck a wall, police say

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ - A Jersey City woman had to be airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center after she was injured on the Breakwater Beach Go-Cart ride late Saturday afternoon, Detective Steven Korman said.

Police responded to the 5:15 p.m. accident at 800 Ocean Terrace to discover that the 21-year-old woman was on the ride when she apparently struck a wall, he said.

The woman apparently lost conscience during the ride, app.com says.
