Bedminster School to Be Open Nov. 8 and 9
These days were originally off because of the NJEA Teachers' Convention.

With the NJEA Teachers' Convention canceled, the Bedminster Township School District has decided it will be open on Nov. 8 and 9—provided the school as power again.
In an alert from Superintendent of Schools Carolyn Koos, she said that the previously planned days off on Thursday and Friday of next week for the convention have been canceled and school will be in session.
Koos said in the alert that attendance modifications will be taken into consideration.

The opening of the school on those days is contingent on whether power has returned to the building by that time.
According to Bedminster Township Mayor Robert Holtaway, the Somerset Hills School District has already said it expects to be closed on Monday at this point because power has not yet been restored. Updates will be sent out if that changes.

In concert with that, Holtaway said, Bedminster Township School is also expected to be closed as it shares school buses with the Somerset Hills District, and also still has not had power restored.
