• Bedwell Backpacks-When Function Meets Fabulous! (tapinto.net) — Third graders at Bedwell Elementary School in Bernardsville are turning backpack shopping into a hands-on design challenge, building their own functional, stylish prototypes from recycled materials. Guided by Tech & Design teacher Allen Thurlow, students research, sketch, construct, test, and then pitch their creations, sharpening math, teamwork, and presentation skills while proudly showing off some very inventive backpack features.
