Power Slowly Returning in The Hills
But most residents in Bedminster and Basking Ridge are still in the dark.

Despite thousands of people still being without power across the state, residents in the Somerset Hills are very slowly seeing it come back as the week continues.
Here are the numbers as they stand, according to the power companies:
- In Bedminster, 2,586 residences are without power, as opposed to the 3,689 that were without Wednesday
- Bernards Township has 11,561 without power, after having 12,553 without power on Wednesday.
- In Bernardsville, there are still 3,330 without power, as opposed to the 3,444 who were without power Wednesday.
These figures are all as of 1 p.m. Thursday.
