What to Do While You're Waiting for Christmas
Join Us For an Advent Sermon Series "The Dawn of Redeeming Grace"

The Pluckemin Presbyterian Church (PPC), located at 279 Route 202-206 in Pluckemin, invites you to wait with them for Christmas. Wait? What?!? That’s right! It’s Advent, the time of year where we wait and prepare for the arrival of Christmas! While we’re all waiting, we encourage you to join us for an Advent sermon series based on the book “Dawn of Redeeming Grace, Daily Devotions for Advent” by Sinclair B. Ferguson. One short chapter is read each day in December, then, on the Sundays of Advent, at 10:00am, Rev. Ian T. Rankine will summarize that week’s main message during worship. If you’ve been away from church for a while, or are simply curious about the Christian hubbub this time of year, this approachable series is a great way to acquaint yourself with the message of Christmas and live in the light of the dawn of redeeming grace.
The series will culminate on Christmas Eve, December 24th, with two special worship services:
4:30pm Children and Family Worship – grab the whole family just as they are and attend this interactive service. There will be special roles for kids of all ages to play in our impromptu Christmas Pageant – no advance preparation necessary!

7:30pm Traditional Candlelight Service – Flickering candlelight, glorious choir music, and the gorgeous sound of the Carillons handbell choir will enhance the worship experience as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the dawn of redeeming grace! Service ends with the traditional singing of “Silent Night, Holy Night” to candlelight.
