Expert and novice golfers alike are invited to join The Willow School on Monday, May 23, for a rare opportunity to play at the private and renowned Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ. The event, open to the public, is Willow’s Second Annual Mark Biedron Golf Classic, held in honor of Mark Biedron, co-founder of The Willow School and former president of the New Jersey State Board of Education, who passed away in 2020 from ALS. Proceeds from The Golf Classic will support The Willow School, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, as a leader in sustainability with a mission to empower children to develop an ethical approach to all relationships and to believe in their power to effect positive change. Willow will also be accepting donations at registration for CCALS, a grassroots organization whose mission it is to support people diagnosed with ALS along with their families, communities, and healthcare providers.

Golfers will play the beautiful Highlands Course, a championship layout designed by nationally-known golf course architects with over seven thousand yards of hills and ravines, wide fairways, and dramatically fingered bunkering to challenge the skilled golfer. Golfers may purchase tickets to play 18 holes on the Highlands Course (9 am shotgun start, shamble format), or improve their game with a 10 am golf clinic followed by 9 holes on the Hickory Course. All tickets include a breakfast buffet, luncheon, and awards reception.

Purchase tickets at celebrate.willowschool.org, or call the The Willow School Business Office at (908) 470-9500. Sponsors or businesses interested in participating in this event may also contact the Business Office. Please RSVP before May 9, 2022.
