Jacobs, Parker Win Bedminster Committee Seats
They will start their terms in January.

Republican incumbent Steven Parker and newcomer Republican Lawrence Jacobs were elected to terms on council in Tuesday's elections, with 2,080 and 2,082 votes, respectively.
In total, 58.2 percent of registered voters, or 3,791, participated in the election.
Democratic candidate Gail Solomon-Canty received 1,398 votes, while her running mate Sasha Wolf received 1,446 votes.

As for the Bedminster local question, residents voted in favor of allowing for a percentage of Open Space Trust Funds to be used for the maintenance of open space throughout the township.
