BHS Students Win Awards at Conference
Eight students recognized in family oriented march event.

The Bloomfield High School FCCLA participated in the New Jersey State FCCLA Spring Leadership Conference on March 14 and 15 with 37 other schools.
Eight out of ten students participating from Bloomfield High School received medals for their family oriented projects.

Taking home gold medals were Keara George and Raheim Raymond for their presentation of Dining with Delight for Manners Matter, Rexella & Meroline Bazile in Storybook Ethics with their rendition of "The Real Story of the Three Little Pigs," and Jennica Robinson for her performance in Serving up Success.
Silver medals went to Sydnei Fletcher for creating Chime Time, Toys That Teach and Jamila Ferguson for her Entree Salad in Luncheon Menu Showcase. Bronze medal went to Sajada Mayrant for creating an evening bag for Successories.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Involvement in FCCLA focuses on developing leadership, life skills functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum.
