Bloomfield Man Wanted for Murder of Young Mother of Two
Essex Police are searching for a Bloomfield man who is one of four suspects in the botched robbery murder of 22-year-old mother.
A Bloomfield man wanted in connection with the murder of a 22-year-old mother of two is currently at large and considered armed and dangerous. Perry Howard, 30, is the fourth and only suspect still at large in connection with the murder.
Mumit Marrow, 21, of Newark (pictured in second photo) was arrested on Tuesday, becoming the third suspect to be apprehended in connection with the crime, according to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray.
“Ana Satian was shot on Nov. 8, 2014 when she went to visit a friend on 3rd Street Newark,” Murray stated. “At least two of the defendants approached Satian as she was walking into her friend’s house, stole her cell phone and shot her. She died the next day at University Hospital from her injuries.“

In December of 2014, Lauren Whatley, 25, and Massai Laboo, 22, both of Irvington were arrested and charged. All four defendants are charged with felony murder, conspiracy, robbery and weapons offenses. Marrow’s arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 15.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Perry Howard (pictured in first photo) by Newark Police, who are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect. All three defendants in custody are being held on $750,000 bail at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark.
“Information regarding Perry Howard’s whereabouts should be reported to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force by calling the tips line at 1-877-TIPS-4-EC or 1-877-847-7432, Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas S. Fennelly said.”
