Help Clean Up Clark's Pond Nature Preserve on Sunday
Help keep Clark's Pond beautiful in annual Spring clean-up.
Round up the family for the 18th annual Clark's Pond Nature Preserve Spring Cleanup from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. Volunteers will receive gloves, bags and tools to help clean up trash around the pond.
Those interested in the event should meet at the sign-in table near the footpath behind Bloomfield Middle School. For more information, call 973-338-5856.
Sponsored by Friends of Clark’s Pond & Third River, a group that works to restore, and maintain Clark's Pond Nature Preserve, which includes part of the Lenape Trail. The group keeps an inventory of the pond’s flora and wildlife, monitor the water quality, and have had nature walks and other educational activities.
