1st Baby Of 2026 Brings Joy To Ocean Medical Center In Brick
A Toms River couple welcomed the hospital's first baby of 2026.

BRICK, NJ — An Ocean County couple celebrated the New Year in the maternity ward at Ocean University Medical Center, welcoming their son to the world.
Jordan Ford arrived at 1:03 p.m. on New Year's Day, checking in at 7 pounds, 8.6 ounces for parents Kristyn and Doug Ford of Toms River.
Jordan was 19.5 inches long, a Hackensack Meridian Health spokesperson said.

"The arrival of the first babies of 2026 is a joyous and exciting moment for all of us at Hackensack Meridian Health," said Robert C. Garrett, Hackensack Meridian Health CEO. "It's a powerful reminder of our mission: to provide the highest quality care to every mother and child."
"We send our warmest congratulations to the proud new parents. We wish all our communities a vibrant and healthy new year," Garrett said.
