4 File to Run for Brick BOE; No Independent Mayoral or Council Challengers File
Two incumbents, two challengers running for school board

The deadline has passed for candidates to file petitions to run for school board and for independent candidates to file to run for mayoral or council seats.
No independent candidates filed to run for municipal offices in Brick, according to a list provided to Patch by Ocean County Clerk Scott M. Colabella. That means the only two mayoral candidates to appear on the ballot in November will be the winners of Tuesday's primary elections.
Republicans are choosing between Joseph Sangiovanni and Dan Toth to represent them in the mayoral race; Democrats are making the choice between John Ducey and Joe Lamb to be their candidate.
