
Brick Township's Board of Education has opted to continue its relationship with the law firm that has been representing the district for the past two years.
It has also appointed T&M Associates as its engineering firm.
The firm of Berry, Sahradnik, Kotzas and Benson, of Toms River, has been appointed to another year-long term representing the district. According to a contract, the firm will charge the district $140 per hour for attorney services.

Attorney Jack Sahradnik primarily represents the board.
The rate is the same as the previous two school years.

T&M Associates, of Middletown, will continue to offer its engineering services to the district for the 2013-14 school year. The firm will charge a number of rates ranging from $55 per hour for the services of a technical assistant to $140 per hour for the services of a principal engineer.
The district no longer has a relationship with the embattled Birdsall Services Group engineering firm, Business Administrator Jim Edwards said.
"Birdsall got no new jobs in the past year," he said, though the firm worked on the completion of two previous projects which they had been awarded.
