Child Pornography Charge Filed After Video Found On Brick Man's Phone, Prosecutor Says

The video depicted child sexual abuse, the prosecutor's office said.

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man has been charged with possession of child sexual abuse material after authorities found a video showing a sexual act on his phone, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said Friday.

Marc A. Fay, 42, was charged on Thursday after an investigation by the prosecutor's office High Tech Crime Unit and Brick Township police led the examination of Fay's cell phone and the discovery of the video, the prosecutor's office said.

The prosecutor's office did not say what led authorities to perform the forensic examination of the phone.

Fay surrendered himself to Brick Township police on Thursday and is being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
