Driver Not Injured After Hitting Top Tomato Storefront
Building structurally safe as well, officials say

A Lakewood woman was uninjured after her vehicle jumped a curb and struck the entrance of the Top Tomato market on Brick Boulevard Wednesday morning.
Eleanor Corona, 84, was attempting to park her car at the time of the incident, said Brick Police Sgt. David Bedrosian.
"As she was braking, her foot slipped off the brake pedal and onto the accelerator," Bedrosian said.

Neither Corona nor anyone else was injured. The impact mainly caused damage to the store's glass front door, and a township building inspector found no structural issues.
Fire Marshall Kevin Batzel said firefighters came to the scene as a precaution but were not needed. The vehicle's airbags did not deploy, and a tow truck removed it from the scene.

Wednesday's incident is not the first time a car has struck the front of the Top Tomato building, Batzel said.
