Evacuation Lifted At Jackson Outlet Mall After Investigation Into Explosive Device Report
All employees and customers were being permitted to return to the stores, Jackson Township police said.

JACKSON, NJ — An evacuation at Jackson Premium Outlets was lifted Friday afternoon after an investigation turned up no sign of an explosive device at the property, Jackson Township police said.
In an update about 5:20 p.m., Jackson police said the investigation of the outlet mall on Monmouth Road turned up no evidence of any device.
"After sweep of all stores, the location has been deemed safe to resume normal business," police said. "Officers are in the process of breaking down the scene and regular activites have been resumed with patrons being permitted to return."

Jackson police first evacuated the outlet mall and its stores about 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Police did not provide details on what the alleged explosive device entailed.
