High School Graduations Moved In Brick Due To Storm Forecast

The changes are being made to ensure parents and family can see the graduations before the weather shifts, Brick school officials said.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township School District has changed the high school graduation ceremonies on Wednesday due to the forecast for storms later in the day, district officials said.

The graduation ceremonies at Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School will both begin at 2 p.m., a district official said. The graduations will be held on the schools' football fields.

Brick Township's graduation had been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and Brick Memorial's for 4:30 p.m., the official said.

Showers and possibly thunderstorms are possible in the area around 5 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
