• N.J. man who solicited explicit content from minors gets 14-year sentence (nj.com subscription) — A 37-year-old Brick resident has been sentenced in federal court to more than a decade in prison after admitting he coerced several minors into sending explicit photos and videos. Prosecutors say he contacted at least five juveniles on a messaging app between 2021 and 2023, and the case was pursued under the Justice Department’s Project Safe Childhood initiative.
