K-9 Officer Training Event Hosted At Brick Church

BRICK, NJ — A training event for K-9 units is underway in Brick on Tuesday at New Beginnings Church on Brick Boulevard, Brick Township police said.

The event, which began at 7 a.m., was expected to draw 30 to 40 K-9 teams from law enforcement agencies across New Jersey, police said.

As a result, residents will see an increased law enforcement presence around the church until about 4 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

"This is a scheduled and controlled exercise, and there is no cause for concern," police said. "We appreciate your continued cooperation and thank you for your support."
