K's Kitten Rescue To Participate In TR Elks Festival Of Trees Thursday
K's Kitten Rescue will be one of 21 local nonprofits with a tree reflecting the organization's mission on display on December 5, 2024.
K's will be participating in the Toms River Elks Annual Festival Of Trees.
The 2024 Festival of Trees will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 5-9 PM. The event will take place at the Toms River Elks Lodge, located at 600 Washington St., Toms River, NJ 08753. The Festival of Trees is an all ages event that is open to the public and free to attend.
The Toms River Elks Festival Of Trees brings together local nonprofit organizations in order to create an opportunity for the members of the community to familiarize themselves with the organizations serving it. Each nonprofit decorates a Christmas tree in the spirit of their mission.

Each guest that attends the Festival of Trees will be given different tickets upon entrance. Each of those tickets may be used to place a vote in different contests being held. One of those contests is to determine the tree that best demonstrates the message of inclusion. The other contest is to determine the tree the best reflects their organization's message. There will also be prizing for the best overall decorated tree. These contests let the community support their favorite nonprofit while adding a small element of friendly competition to the evening. We would not complain if you chose to vote for us in any of the contests.
Aside from more than 20 Christmas trees, guests attending the event can also check out the s'mores bar, as well as enjoy some hot cocoa, popcorn, cotton candy and baked goods. A quiet room with a holiday movie will be available. Santa will be attending the event as well.
