Multiple Cats Removed From Brick Home

Police said the cats were removed as part of an ongoing investigation.

BRICK, NJ — Authorities removed "multiple" cats from a residence on Sawmill Road on Tuesday, Brick Township police confirmed Wednesday.

A source told Patch the number was between 10 and 15 cats. The circumstances of the discovery and removal of the cats could not be confirmed Wednesday morning.

Brick police said the cats are receiving care from a veterinarian. They did not say what condition the cats were in.
