Report: 3 Public Brick Retirees Receive More than $100K Pension

More than 1,200 public retirees in the state receive pensions that are more than $100K

Three former public employees in Brick are part of the so-called "$100K" club, receiving more than $100,000 in pension from the state of New Jersey.

Last year, 1,244 former employees collected more than $100,000 the according to New Jersey Watchdog. This number has increased by 28 percent since 2010, according to the group. 

Brick's retirees on the list include Deputy Police Chief Douglas Kinney at $115,194, former Police Chief Ron Dougard at $105,243 and Robert R. Ryan at $102,765.

The highest-paid retiree statewide was A.Z. Yamba, who drew $195,000 in retiree pay from Essex County College.
