MANTOLOKING, NJ — A fire on a utility pole has forced authorities to close Route 35 in Mantoloking on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ocean County Sheriff's Office said the road is closed in both directions between Lyman Street and Bergen Avenue due to the fire.
Drivers should avoid the area and expect delays on side streets.
