Support African Mission Trip
Brick Township resident heading to Nakuru, Africa to provide supplies, hope and love
Alicia Guierro, a life-long resident of Brick Township, will be embarking on a mission trip to Nakuru, Africa with twenty others from her church to provide toiletries, food, water, toys and most importantly, hope, love and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The trip will take place this August and is not the first time that the Toms River Assembly of God has been to Africa. For many years now, groups of volunteers have donated their time to provide aid to this area of the world. In 2023, Alicia's husband, Jimmy took the journey which changed his life forever. To see children, without parents, living in garbage dumps broke his heart. Alicia knew then that she would be on the next trip.
Even though these people have nothing, once they learn that they have a savior who loves them, they are filled with abundant joy and gratefulness. You can see in these pictures, they are thankful for just the air in their lungs! We all have one purpose on this earth and that is to love others. If you feel led to help Alicia on her journey, please click the link below for the Gofundme page that has been set up to provide for the $3000 trip expenses. If you feel led but are unable to provide financial support, please keep Alicia and her team in your prayers that they may have a safe and impactful visit!
