Teachers Of Year Named In Brick Township Schools

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Schools announced the district's 2024-25 Educators and Education Services Professionals of the Year in December, honoring those who have had an impact on the district's students.

One teacher and one education services professional is named in each school as part of the Governor's Educator of the Year program.

Some of the requirements of the program are that the teachers " are an expert in the field who inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn," collaborates, demonstrates leadership and has the respect of parents and students, the program webpages say.

"This is an award based on merit and leadership and not to be given out solely based on years of service," the program says.

Here are the honorees in the Brick Township Schools, announced at the Dec. 12 Board of Education meeting.
